Bloompark provided project management services for Opal Healthcare’s Toongabbie Terrace residential aged care facility, completed in October 2022. The development required significant services augmentation and diversion to integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
The facility features 124 single-occupant, high-care bedrooms with ensuites, complemented by a range of amenities, including public areas, a porte cochere, rooftop terraces, external balconies, and a dedicated memory support wing. Additional spaces such as a loading dock, BOH areas, laundry, kitchen, multi-function spaces, and a hair salon ensure ultimate functionality and amenity.
Bloompark oversaw an early works pacakge, including demolition, site remediation, and substation installations, ensuring a smooth transition from planning to construction and project completion.
The project won the MBA Excellence in Construction Award for Aged Care Buildings between $25-$30M in 2023 which is a testament to the quality of work of all parties involved.
